Accessorial types
Use Accounting > Accessorial types to manage the extra charge and pay labels your team can select on a load.
Built-in accessorials
Detention, Layover, and Stop pay are supplied by Axivoy. They are read-only on this page because their driver rates are set on pay plans.
- Detention covers time spent waiting at a stop.
- Layover covers an extended delay, usually measured in days.
- Stop pay pays a driver for qualifying stops.
Additional accessorial types
This section holds your organization's custom items, such as lumper pay, washout, or a special bonus.
| Field | What it does |

| Name | The label users see when adding the item to a load. |
| Suggested amount | Fills in a starting amount that the user can change. |
| Active | Controls whether the item appears in load entry lists. |
Use Add accessorial type to create an item. Edit an existing item when its label or suggested amount changes. Make an unused item inactive instead of creating a duplicate.
Where these items appear
- Customer charges appear under a load's Financials > Customer billing section.
- Driver items appear under Financials > Axivoy driver pay.
- Built-in detention, layover, and stop rates are managed on Accounting > Driver payroll > Pay plans.
Changing a suggested amount does not change amounts already saved on loads.
